Bought for a Miniature Dachshund.
Quite okay, softens noticeably that it is coconut fat in as it melts quickly between the pads and is absorbed relatively quickly. But if it protects I do not know. The scent is spicy and pleasant.

Bought for a Poodle, toy.
Very good and soft, smells good, luckily my dog was not interested in licking it, but was not bothered by it either.

Bought for a Finnish Spitz.
The ointment seems to moisturize the pads well but whether it is caring I do not know as I have not noticed a better difference in the quality of the pads.

Bought for a Lagotto romagnolo.
Strong scent but nothing that bothers, seems to taste good (!) so it is important to distract once the paws are lubricated. :)
