Have a kitten who quickly learned to walk on the Hop in litter box. There is no sand and spillage around the box. Our dog doesn't seem to think it's worth sticking his head in the box and taking the feces.

Finally no kitty litter outside the box and it's big, so she can move around and scratch as much as she wants. Very happy!
