Very tight, which patterned sweaters can be, as they rarely stretch as well as a solid colored knit sweater does, but fits our dog quite well, nothing that hangs and throws. I find it hard to see how dogs that are a little more coarsely built could wear

Could be a little stretchier in the knitting size 30 was too small changed to 40 and it was fine otherwise fine !
